Lake Adger NC Boats

A little about me: I've been photographing places that are allegedly haunted and abandoned places since 2009. I developed an interest in hauntings back in 2007. I'm not a ghosthunter, I consider myself a legend hunter, urban explorer and amateur photographer.
Along the same vein I also have an avid interest in the occult, astrology, numerology, tarot, psychics and the paranormal. In many ways they go hand in hand.
Against my original wishes I decided to combine two blogs(the other being Divine Mystick which I've tried working on a few times but never have enough time) into this one. My interest centers on hauntings as well as the occult so there's no reason not to combine the two.
My photography here includes many different things, mostly old, abandoned houses but also haunted jewelry and dolls, old rusty cars and places of rural decay. My articles center around hauntings(haunted places) and anything having to do with paganism, religion, spirituality, witchcraft, magick, parallel dimensions, past lives, negative energy and entities and the occult. I offer positive reinforcement from time to time. I also delve into demonology and satanism a bit. I add one layer and that is the mystical science of astronomy.

Haunted Doll 2

Sally Ann came to me with another doll they were both in a little wooden box. Someone had put them in there with some lavender. I have had the dolls about 1 yr. and until recently I haven't had too much activity, but now out of the blue they have started to show themselves to me in different ways. I started to get more Evps from them, one asks mostly for her mother and the other doll has given me a little more information. I was even able to get Sally to tell me where she came from and from what I can gather it was up in a mountain. The first activity I knew was the box they were in was open all the time. I asked my kids if they opened the box but they all said no, then I knew that the Lavender was dying and blooming again even though there is no water or anything in there with the flower. Sally Ann is a pretty sweet doll and not negative in any way. Sally has done very well with my family and spirits and doesnt seem to mind my animals.

This doll like the other one belonged to a 5 year old little girl and when the activity became too much for the little girl her mother decided it was time to relinquish the dolls and I became the new owner. They can be quite active.

Haunted Doll

Bridget came to me with another doll named Sally Ann. They were both in a wooden box with Lavender in it. I didnt see much activity from her at first, but after sometime I knew that the box was open. I asked my children if they had opened the box but they said no. Then I saw that the lavender that was in the box was starting to bloom, even though there was no water or anything in the box with it. Bridget seems to be more talkative than Sally with the Evp's. She has told me about the mountian and even something about a deer. Bridget is a very sweet soul.

This doll belonged to a 5 year old girl but the doll was too active for the little girl to keep her.

1955 Ford Thunderbird Post 2

This old TBird has been in storage in a barn since 1966. It had 56,000 miles on it when it was driven from California to Massachesetts and has been sitting ever since.

My website is http://www.divinemystick.com for the occult.

Another new one at http://365carz.blogspot.com for old rides.

A little about me: I've been photographing allegedly haunted places and abandoned houses, old buildings, empty businesses, rusty cars, places of rural decay, etc, since April 2009 when my husband first got me into it. I would go and explore places that were supposed to be haunted and would take note as to where they were but that was it. He told me I should take pictures so that's what I started doing. I developed an avid interest in all things haunted and abandoned after I was in a major three car accident and finally started taking pictures of them. I started with mostly places in upper Greenville County SC and a few around Western North Carolina, Hendersonville and Edneyville NC but didn't find near as many in NC as SC so I stuck to that. Over time I started exploring many more places in SC eventually leading into Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia(in fact, VA is one of my favorite places to visit) and Kentucky. When I get to I go to Michigan(I so love the Great Lakes) In fact, I lived there for awhile. Wilmington NC is another favorite place to visit.
I'm from Florida originally so I have to include FL on that list. My favorite place there is the Everglades.
Some of the best supposedly haunted(creepy) places to visit in SC are the Spartanburg Tan Yards, the site of the old TB Hospital, the old buncombe baby cemetery(Hickory Point baby graveyard) in Greenville SC, Hester's Store in Easley SC(I've heard it's going to be torn down), Campbell's Covered Bridge, New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery(been there a number of times) and in NC the Spencer Mtn Mansion in Charlotte NC(it is completely boarded up and impossible to gain entry, Helen's Bridge in Asheville NC, Lincoln Academy in Gastonia NC(the site where Kathleen Smiley was raped, tortured and murdered and Bearwallow Mountain in Hendersonville NC. Along the way, I've found a few abandoned houses that were quite eerie and foreboding.
My interest in psychics, the afterlife, witchcraft, ghosts, the paranormal, etc., became much more pronounced after my second car accident. Over time my love of photography has led into taking pictures of nature, vintage items, classic cars, old house interiors(when I can trespass safely) and almost anything I think will take a good photograph,
I'm a wife, amateur photographer, urban explorer and legendhunter. By that I mean I hunt legends, not ghosts. I'm also an entrepreneur, property manager(and renovation manager), PT truck driver and travel frequently with my job. When I get the time I sell on auction sites as well. Blogging, photography and writing are my passions. Oh yeah and movies. I love movies and reading when I can.

I also come from a long line of spiritists dating back many generations. I am christian and believe in the power of angels, kinetic and divine energy but also believe in the darker side. I come from celtic, irish, romanian and native american descent. Jane Bissi
