Abandoned House 97 Zirconia NC

This is another old abandoned house on Cabin Creek Road in Zirconia NC. This is only a few miles(3 or 4 miles) across the state line from SC so if you live in the upper greenville county area this isn't very far to drive and it's a nice area. It's not my favorite area but I go anywhere there are old abandoned and empty houses to photograph.

  1. This is not a abondoned house but the old community building. This was in use from the 50's until around 1972. The material to build this was taken from torn down building's when the Greenville Water shed was build back in the late 50's early 60's. When the building was not being used anymore it was given back to the original land owner and is still there. This community is known as Mountain Valley Community and is one of the oldest in Henderson County. It was est. late 1700 to early 1800 when people first settled there consisting of family names of Capps, Camp, Maybin, Corn Hunnicutt and Ward.
