AKA Urbankish & Haunted Abandoned Carolinas. I'm not a ghosthunter but a legendhunter & urban explorer. I photograph allegedly haunted places throughout the Carolinas & beyond. The pix are of abandoned and/or haunted places, cemeteries, old barns, route 66, etc.
I lived in new prospect as a child and grew up going to new prospect elementary school. i lived three miles down the road from this building you have pictured. This building is empty now and looking quite run down but i dont believe its haunted though atleast not to my immediate knowledge. At one point it was set on fire which may be why it is abandoned now. it has only been abandoned for about 11 years IF that. before it was abandoned it was a discount grocery store, an antique shop, and a secondhand store. im 22 now and i remember as a kid/teen my mom would take us there when we stopped in at jims quick shop which is the white building in front. you can slightly see the back of jims in these pictures (jims quick shop is now called wilsons). last time i was there was in the late 90's early 2000 so...not THAT long ago. there are a ton and i mean a freaking ton of truly haunted places in campobello, inman, etc. But this one i think you'll find pretty uninteresting if you did some investigating.
