Abandoned Mobile Home Travelers Rest SC 108

This was taken on Robertson Rd in Travelers Rest SC. The nature picture and the horse were across the street if my memory serves me correctly. Many people in Upper Greenville county have horses and livestock and live out in the country. It is a very nice area.

Abandoned Mobile Home Hendersonville NC 107

This was taken on Ebby Manor Rd in Hendersonville NC. At least I think that is the correct road. It's what it looks like from my writing. The other pic is a nature picture of the road where the mobile home is located.

Abandoned House Tigerville SC 101

This old house is farther out the road from the T.P.Wood store in Tigerville. It is obviously very old and has been left to rot but still stands to let us see days gone by.

Abandoned House 97 Zirconia NC

This is another old abandoned house on Cabin Creek Road in Zirconia NC. This is only a few miles(3 or 4 miles) across the state line from SC so if you live in the upper greenville county area this isn't very far to drive and it's a nice area. It's not my favorite area but I go anywhere there are old abandoned and empty houses to photograph.

Abandoned House 96 Zirconia NC

This old house which appears to be very old and you can't see it very well in the photograph, It was very light out the day I took it, is in Zirconia NC. The address is 393 Cabin Creek Road. Zirconia is only a few miles(3 or 4 miles if that) across the state line from SC.

Abandoned House 95 Travelers Rest SC

This is a beautiful area that I discovered accidentally when out joyriding. This house is empty and abandoned, at least appears to be abandoned. The power lines had been removed from the house and there's no way of knowing how long it's sat here empty but I would surmise not too long as the house is not in terrible condition.
The address is 497 Coleman Trail.

Empty House Greenville SC

Here is a place that is just around the corner from the first place, the abandoned garage bordering Pickens Greenville County lines. It is at 1010 Old Hunts Bridge Road in Greenville SC.
It was somewaht interesting. It is rather secluded just as the first place was and I was able to wander around unbothered by anyone. Several people drove down the highway but no one stopped and I walked around the front yard of the house next to it and I don't know if it is empty or not. It appeared to be but since I couldn't be sure I refrained from taking pictures as I'm not keen on taking photographs of people's homes. Homes where people currently occupy that is.
I think it is a business rather than house.

Burned House Cleveland SC

Here is a picture of a burned house on old, old Hwy 11 in what is either Cleveland or Marietta SC. I don't know the history of this place but would like to. It is the only house on this road and there are remnants of what appears to to be another house that was there at some point. This place is creepy to say the least. And at one point there was a dog running loose that must have come from another populated area which prevented me from exploring the inside or around it as he didn't appear to be friendly. It is very wooded and isolated. And not a place I would explore at night especially alone. Water also tends to stand in the road when it rains. I've been here a few times but not recently.

Abandoned House New Prospect SC

This house is located on E. Frontage Road and Hwy 11. It is right across the street from what used to be a car dealer. It has changed hands a few times over the past few years and I believe it is now abandoned again. It goes through stages where someone(a business) will be in it then they will be out of it.

Abandoned House Black Mountain NC

The odd thing about this house is it's actually located in Bat Cave in Henderson County rather than Buncombe County which Black Mtn is technically in.

I've explored this house, it appears to have belonged to either a nun or a very religious woman. There were many notes and writings pertaining to religion. There was also an oxygen tank. The house is in relatively good condition but definitely needs work. I drive by at that night and the lights had been left on so apparently someone tends to the place but on the day I visited the back door was standing wide open so we went in and explored. It's a two story house. Fixed up it would be quite nice.
There's an old shed I included a picture of too.
It's right on Hwy 9.

This is another abandoned house I found while joyriding through Travelers Rest SC. It is very grown up and is located on Upcountry Road.

Abandoned House Travelers Rest SC 67

This is an abandoned house I found while going down E. Bowers Road in Travelers Rest SC. It is very old and looks to have never had power. Maybe it did and the utility company has removed the lines. I've seen a few houses like that. But this is very old dating back to probably the 1920's or earlier. It is surrounded by a field.

Abandoned House 2 Edneyville NC 66

This is another abandoned house almost right across the street from the Townsend Road house except it's located on Chimney Rock Road/US 64. This house too was creepy to me. Unlike the other house this one appears to have no one ever coming around.
I can't remember if there was an opening to get inside or not. I remember some of the windows being out. It was quite grown up around it. I was only able to park down near the highway and decided even if there was an opening I was right out in the open where someone could see me and I simply didn't want a run in with the sheriff dept so I refrained from trying to go inside and decided to just take pictures besides it was quite grown up and I felt kind of uneasy at this place.
Generally if I feel uneasy at a place I will not attempt to go inside and I will not stick aorund long. Only long enough to take some pictures and go.

2019 Dacusville Rd-Dacusville SC

This place is not only empty and abandoned but for sale too. It appears that it has been that way for awhile.
It doesn't particularly peak my interest and it isn't really creepy. It's just abandoned and empty.
Interest level: On a scale of 1-20 it is a 6. There is only one small place to park right in front of the house. There is a cable blocking the driveway.

367 Hester Store Rd-Easley SC

This house is abandoned and empty. It is almost across the street from the golf course which the name escapes me right now.
I can't say this place is haunted but when I was there I heard sounds that didn't seem to be coming from across the street at the golf course. I heard a woman's voice to begin with that sounded like it was coming from the house so I turned to look. I thought perhaps people were living there and I just didn't realize it but on further inspection I realized it is empty and if I remember correctly some of the windows were boarded up.
After walking around a bit and taking more pictures I heard chickens/rooster that sounded like it was coming from the old sheds on the premises. Needless to say after a short time I decided to leave without exploring further. These sounds could have just been from the golf course and down the road although I didn't see any nearby houses that looked to contain chickens or a rooster but I could be wrong.
Interest level: 14.5 on a scale of 1-20. It is creepy definitely, not as much as some I've been too but it without a doubt very interesting. And if the house doesn't offer enough interest, well, there's a 27 hole golf course across the street. You don't have to play all 27, you can play 9 or 18 as well. This of course is if you go during the day. There is ample place to park right in front of the house to the side.

Wynn Rd House-Greenville SC

I found this old house some time back but at the time I didn't have my camera so I waited to post about it until now when I have a photo of it.
It appears to be very old, in fact other houses on this street are very rundown. I did not try to go inside as I do a few. The front door is broken down so someone has been here. Maybe a homeless person or it could be drug addicts wanting a place to hang out and get high. The location makes it difficult for anyone to see what is going on from the street. It is isolated with no one else nearby. Down the road there is another street with only one house on it. It looks to be a new construction.

There are trenches all over the place in front of this house and if I'm not mistaken there is an old shed or outhouse one. I can't be sure. Nevertheless, it is quite old and abandoned and has probably been that way for some time.
As far as I know it is not haunted. It is interesting though. It is located not too far off hwy 25 in Travelers Rest/Greenville.

Interest level: 1-20 scale, I rate it an 8.5. Not too many places rank higher than a 10. There are a few but not too many. So this is a fairly good rating. You can park anywhere on the street. I parked just down the road from the house on the side of the road under some trees.
I'm not sure I would explore this place at night. It is off the road a ways although if you look you can see it from Old Hunts Bridge Rd. It is very isolated though with no neighbors nearby and off the road. It probably very dark at night. If you do explore at night be cautious and safe.
